Lacinato Kale


We grow the most popular variety of kale called Lacinato kale. A great way to prepare kale if your family is not a big fan is to make kale chips. See recipe below. Per large bunch of at least 8-10 mature leaves.

Kale chips recipe:

Oil a cookie sheet. Layout kale leaves on the cookie sheet. Brush olive oil on the tops of the leaves. Sprinkle with salt and bake at 300ยบ until crispy – about 10-15 minutes. Kale chips can be stored in a jar at room temperature for up to a week. Dip in dressing, sprinkle on baked potatoes or salads to enjoy all the nutritional benefits of kale.
